The blue plaque which is to be mounted on the wall of the former Princess Christian Hospital in Clarene Road will be unveiled by the Mayor of RBWM on Tuesday 8th May at 2.30pm.
There should be an article about the Annual Dinner 2018, with pictures, in the June edition of Berkshire Life which should be available from mid May,
Note the refurbishment of this area. This brick development won a National Award in 1985. It is important that this is recognised. It is also important that the plaque commemorating the wedding of Prince Charles to Lady Diana Spencer is also retained.
Members had an excellent visit to this delightful town with a guided tour of Restoration House.
Unfortunately it has been decided that some of the trees near this area are unsafe and before further progress can be made there will be arboreal work carried out. However, the information lectern is now being manufactured

The daffodils planted by members in the Autumn are now beginning to flower.
This project is progressing well. The railings have been made and installation should begin about the 9th March. Planting of the area will follow.
